Timothy Babb is an award-winning freelance digital designer artist and member of SAG/AFTRA.
His most recent work includes Lead Environment artist for Skybound, and digital projections for Music Theatre Wichita's productions of My Son Pinocchio, Big Fish, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Wichita State University Opera's Don Giovanni.
Tim graduated in 2000 from Wichita State University with a BA in Theatre and shortly after moved to Los Angeles, California.
Tim was fortunate enough to appear in several television and film productions including The West Wing, The Shield, A Man Apart and 13 Dead Men.
Tim returned to Wichita in 2003, met his wife, received a Master's Degree in Social Work and has 3 children.
Timothy is passionate about breath-taking, storytelling art! He creates everything from digital sets, matte paintings and 3D characters to explosions, animations and simple motion graphics, with great storytelling at the heart of it all. He’s also proficient in Python, so he can write programs and manipulate code to expand program capabilities, while maintaining the best quality and fastest speeds possible.

Timothy wrote the Nuke It plugin for all versions of Maya and has created a tutorial on how to use that plugin. He will be offering free digital assets, textures and HDRI’s, as well as, additional programs, plugin’s and tutorials in the near future. I have developed this Maya plugin to easily create a mushroom cloud effect.
Air rings and compositing are not included, but feel free to contact me for details on how to create those.
